No. The expiration date of the transferred domain is automatically extended for one year (included in the price). In other words one year is added to the
current expiration date, you will not loose any time. No changes will be done on the DNS zone files of the domain. The ownership of the domain will not change
after the transfer.
After the transfer is completed you will be able to manage your domain at the
Account Administration pages.
